"Ryan Garko -- The former third-round pick has not played
in two weeks and appears to have left Aguilas Cibaenas. In 24
games, the 25-year-old is batting .244 with three home runs,
eight runs scored and six RBIs." Теплый Стан доставка пиццы на дом

Interesting choice of words -
'left'. You have to watch for these things because the Indians
have not parted ways with any player or coach of any consequence
over the last few years without them being trashed in the media
on their way out of town. Most of the time it is subtle, little
hints here and there that other people (talk radio and internet)
pick up on and run with. Other times it is more obvious. lp156wh1 tl c1

Jody Gerut
Danys Baez
Milton Bradley
Mike Brown
Eddie Murray
All of the above players/coaches
had, at the least, hints dropped that there was some defect in
their personality that eventually led to the separation between
them and the Indians. I hope that Ryan Garko's name is not added
to the list.
I thought maybe Garko was pulled
from the Winter Leagues because the Indians were trying to trade
him. He hadn't played there long enough to be sent home for low
production as people had speculated. Now we get this - 'he
left'. The reason I am suspicious of this quote is that there is
no quote from Garko himself or anyone in the organization with
their name attached to it. But it is written by one of the
employees at their web site.
Another
intriguing note on Ryan Goleski:
"Unbeknownst to the Athletics, Rule 5 pick
Ryan Goleski underwent wrist surgery on Nov. 9 and might not be
ready for spring training.
Based on MLB guidelines, all 30 clubs are required to turn in
injury reports prior to the Rule 5 draft, stating which eligible
players already have or were slated to have offseason surgery.
Goleski wasn't on that list, creating a difficult situation,
especially since the A's paid $150,000 for his rights ($100,000
of which was sent to Tampa Bay in a trade). "We'll work with the
A's to see where we stand in terms of Ryan's rehab and whether
or not he'll be able to perform in spring training," a front
office official from Cleveland told Baseball America on the
condition of not being identified. "It's an unfortunate
situation, but it is not contentious at all. We want the best
for both sides and for the player involved." Should Goleski be
returned, it figures that the A's will ask the Indians for the
full $150,000 they spent bringing him in."
Hard to believe the Indian front
office didn't know Goleski had surgery November 9th.
